Information


The Practice

We focus on family NHS dental care and prevention. However, private treatment is available for those items not available on the NHS such as white fillings in posterior teeth and some cosmetic dental treatments.


Your Dentist   

Dr Angela C Redpath BDS BMSc
has worked exclusively in General Dental Practice and has special interests in Children's Dentistry, Prosthetics (dentures) and Medical Microbiology.

Home visits    

These are available for those who are housebound and unable to visit the Practice. Please call 0141 642 0911
or email us to make arrangements.

NHS Registration    

It is required that patients visit the dentist regularly to stay registered for NHS treatment and emergency care if required. Please note that registration lapses if you do not attend at least once every 15 months.

Free Treatment

This is available for children under 18, or those who are 18 but still in full time education.
Women who are pregnant or who have had a baby in the last year are also eligible.
As are patients who receive certain benefits or hold a valid HC2 Certificate.

Subsidised Treatment

This may be available if you are on a low income. If you are eligible you can obtain help towards the costs by completing an HC1 form.

Payment     credit cards

For those who pay we accept cash, cheque, Mastercard, Visa or Switch. Payment must be made at each visit for work carried out. Crowns, bridges and dentures will not be fitted unless they have been paid for.

Emergency Treatment    emergency

Registered patients are entitled to out of hours emergency care.
If you have bleeding, severe pain or swelling please call the Practice telephone number 0141 642 0911 for further advice and details.
